Rare Ihagee Exakta Flashgun Vacublitz - Reflector, Handle, Flash Head, Wire - 1950s

$80.95 $89.95

Rare Ihagee Exakta Flashgun Vacublitz
from about 1950

***The camera is not included***

*Includes the removable reflector,
handle/battery housing, swiveling lamp holder,
and connecting wire.

One previous owner. Untested but it looks
to be in excellent vintage condition. The battery
compartment is free of corrosion. Bulbs
of all sizes (bayonet type) fit in and eject
nicely which makes this flash unit truly unique.

The head does swivel and the reflector
is bright and shiny. There are some spots
of surface discoloration here and there
on the finish but nothing major.

The handle is in great shape but it is
missing a small screw near the tripod mount.
The wire connecting cord looks great with no
visible damage.

*** Remember, I have not tested
this unit with batteries so it is being sold for display.

*Please note that this flash unit is over 70-years-old.
Vintage electronic items carry no guarantee that
they will continue working in the future or when
used again. Please understand that there are no
returns on vintage camera equipment.

Smoke and pet-free home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your shop offer combined shipping?

Yes, just let us know and we'll work something out. No need to pay for shipping more than once.

Does your shop accept returns?

Yes, but with some exceptions. No returns on custom-made items. Part two - we will gladly accept a return within 14 days as long as it is returned to us in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Specifically, if an item is new and unused and in its original box and packaging it must be returned in an unused and unopened condition. Vintage and classic cameras, lenses, and certain pieces of vintage photogear carry no warranties or guarantees. By their very nature, older cameras are just that, old, and their electronics, levers, knobs, buttons, and dials can fail at any time. Let us know if you are returning something, maybe we can reach an agreement short of a full return. Part three - you will always pay for return shipping. Thanks

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping items safely since 2003. We must say, however, that we are not responsible for mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Most items and especially valuable items will always have insurance added.

How can I contact your shop?

We are on Etsy almost everyday and the best way to get our attention is by starting an Etsy convo. We'll answer you quickly.

Does your shop ever do custom orders?

Yes, we do. Just let us know what you want or are looking for and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Does your shop accept a best offer?

We think we have everything priced properly but we are here to make a sale and keep our customers happy. Let us know if you want to make an offer on something. I'm sure we will find a way to reach an accord.
