Nicca Camera Tower Type-3 35mm Rangefinder Film Camera
***Early "Made in Occupied Japan" Model from about 1951
Super Clean - Tested - Needs repair.

Perfect for display, repair or parts.

What a beautiful camera from Nicca Camera of Tokyo -
It's rather hard to find these that still look this nice.

The Tower brand was sold by Sears, Roebuck & Company
in their stores and in their catalogs.

It's been inspected, cleaned, and tested. The shutter is not fully operating and will
need to be repaired. Some speeds do work and sound accurate
against my Nicca S-3 but the shutter curtain is getting sluggish and worn.

The film advance is smooth, the shutter cocks, the shutter button fires nicely,
the rewind knob and all other levers work as they should
and for the most part, move freely.

The body has a slight dent on the top plate near the serial number. Please
check out the detailed pictures of the actual camera you will receive
to best gauge the condition for yourself. I personally rate this
camera in excellent condition with no corrosion and beautiful surfaces.
The leatherette is clean, tight and complete.

The rangefinder works well but is a bit dim. It does focus. The viewfinder
is bright and clear and super clean.

This lovely camera comes from a smoke and pet free home and will
be mailed very quickly - often the same day!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your shop offer combined shipping?

Yes and always! Just let us know and we'll work something out. No need to pay for shipping more than once.

Does your shop accept returns?

Yes but with some minor exceptions. If it was a custom made item we do not accept returns. Good communication before the sale will eliminate returns. Part two... we will gladly accept a returned item (within 14 days) as long as it is returned to us in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Let us know if you are returning something... maybe we can reach an agreement short of a full return. Part three... you will always pay for return shipping.

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We always are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping our items out safely since 2003. We must say however, that we are not responsible for gross mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Valuable items will always have insurance added.

How can I contact your shop?

We are on Etsy almost everyday and the best way to get our attention is by starting an Etsy convo. We'll answer you quickly.

Does your shop ever do custom orders?

Yes we can... our shop and studios are super flexible. Just let us know what you're thinking and Carol can make it happen!

Does your shop accept a best offer?

We think we have everything properly priced but we are here to make a sale and keep our customers happy. Let us know if you want to make an offer on something. I'm sure we will find a way to reach an accord.
