Vintage Norwood Director Exposure Meter
Model B with case and accessories
- American Bolex Company 1948
- Works perfectly!

Here's a beautiful fully working exposure meter
that was originally released in 1948. It's been
the standard light meter for years and has
been used by many famous cinematographers
over the years.

This meter has had only one other owner since
new and it will come to you in its original
leather and satin-lined case with two additional
meter inserts (as pictured).

I've used this meter with great accuracy
and since it's a selenium meter it requires no batteries.

This was originally owned by noted photographer
and writer Ken Cobean from New Mexico and was
part of his extensive collection of photo gear.

It comes from a smoke and pet free home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your shop offer combined shipping?

Yes and always! Just let us know and we'll work something out. No need to pay for shipping more than once.

Does your shop accept returns?

Yes but with some minor exceptions. If it was a custom made item we do not accept returns. Good communication before the sale will eliminate returns. Part two... we will gladly accept a returned item (within 14 days) as long as it is returned to us in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Let us know if you are returning something... maybe we can reach an agreement short of a full return. Part three... you will always pay for return shipping.

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We always are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping our items out safely since 2003. We must say however, that we are not responsible for gross mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Valuable items will always have insurance added.

How can I contact your shop?

We are on Etsy almost everyday and the best way to get our attention is by starting an Etsy convo. We'll answer you quickly.

Does your shop ever do custom orders?

Yes we can... our shop and studios are super flexible. Just let us know what you're thinking and Carol can make it happen!

Does your shop accept a best offer?

We think we have everything properly priced but we are here to make a sale and keep our customers happy. Let us know if you want to make an offer on something. I'm sure we will find a way to reach an accord.
