Canon Serenar 50mm f/1.9 Collapsible Lens

Only one other owner since new of this wonderful
classic Canon lens. It comes from the extensive
camera collection of noted and award-winning
New Mexico writer and photographer Ken Cobean.
Ken's images have appeared in magazines
such as Life and Time.

This lens mounts to any Leica L39 (LTM) screw mount
35mm rangefinder camera such as a Leica, Canon,
Nicca, and Leotax to name just a few. The lens is
digitally adaptable for use on a wide-range
of mirrorless digital cameras (please see my examples).

The aperture blades have some light oil
but they operate smoothly. There are
some dirt specs inside the lens and some very light
haze on the last element but I do not see any
fungus filaments or mold. There are some light scratches
on the front and rear glass but they do not affect the
final images or the performance of the lens.

The lens screws in smoothly and the collapsible
column locks securely.
*There is a slight filter ring edge dent that may inhibit
screw-in filters being used. The original Canon
metal lens cap slips on perfectly and it holds securely.

Does your shop offer combined shipping?

Yes and always! Just let us know and we'll work something out. No need to pay for shipping more than once.

Does your shop accept returns?

Yes but with some minor exceptions. If it was a custom made item we do not accept returns. Good communication before the sale will eliminate returns. Part two... we will gladly accept a returned item (within 14 days) as long as it is returned to us in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Let us know if you are returning something... maybe we can reach an agreement short of a full return. Part three... you will always pay for return shipping.

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We always are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping our items out safely since 2003. We must say however, that we are not responsible for gross mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Valuable items will always have insurance added.
