The electronic shutter is spot-on and
sounds accurate. All dials, knobs, levers,
and latches work as designed. No issues.

Includes a new Energizer A544 battery,
an owner's manual, and a Yashica lens cap.

The lens is fast, sharp, and clear. It's been tested
on my digital camera. The f/1.7 lens has a great
reputation in the Tomioka Optical lens line and is
in my opinion sharper than the f/1.4

I've installed a new battery and have tested the
light meter against my handheld meter.
The meter is sluggish and isn't accurate. I typically
use my phone app to meter with my film cameras.

The display stand is not included.

This is the perfect opportunity to add this
wonderful film camera to your collection.
This Yashica accepts all M42 screw mount lenses
which are available in a wide array of focal lengths.

A little bit about the Yashica TL Electro X.
It's one of the best SLRs of the late 1960s
and 1970s. Metal and glass - solid.
This one is from my personal collection and
has been always been properly maintained
and cared for. This one was built in November 1972.
It's a great camera to cut your teeth
on as you learn photography. You won't find
a cleaner one on Etsy!

It comes from a smoke and pet-free home.

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping items safely since 2003. We must say, however, that we are not responsible for mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item.
