I have my early model Canon F-1 35mm SLR available for purchase.
This camera is dated July 1973 (N729).
Serial Number 218373
It's one of my favorite cameras, but it's time to pass it along to another collector.
It's been fully serviced by a professional and completely tested by them and me.
Complete CLA. The exposure meter was calibrated to factory settings, and the exposure adjusted. Replaced mirror cushion and light seals.
Complete lubrication and adjustment of all moving parts.
Shutter speeds set to factory settings.
This is a camera that can be the centerpiece of your early Canon or SLR collection and be ready to shoot with right out of the box.
The camera is in near mint condition with only a few minor signs of past careful use. NO brassing, which is rare in a camera of this era. Please check out my detailed pictures. The pro-black finish is in amazing condition. My camera is super clean inside and out.
I'll include a Canon body cap and a fresh 625A battery.
This Canon F-1 will accept any Canon FD lens made from 1971 to 1995.

*Please note that the prism can not be removed. It's never been an issue for me since I don't use different Canon finders beyond the standard eye-level finder. The viewfinder is bright and clear. The meter is accurate.

So there you have it. One of the nicest F-1s you'll find anywhere (and fully serviced too).

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping items safely since 2003. We must say, however, that we are not responsible for mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Most items and especially valuable items will always have insurance added.
