Canon F-1 35mm SLR Camera - Rare EP Mark Japan - Early 1973 Version - Fully Tested, Professionally Serviced, Film Tested

$316.76 $395.95

I have my early model Canon F-1 35mm SLR available for purchase.

**This is a rare <E.P> marked camera. This indicates that it was a 'Tax Exempt, Exempt Product' and was sold through a US military exchange store, likely in Japan. Very few F-1s survive with the mark today. Early F-1s were not normally marked in this way.

This camera is dated January 1973, Date Code (N128).
Serial Number 173145
It's one of my favorite cameras, but it's time to pass it along to another collector.
It's been fully serviced by a professional and completely tested by them and me.
*Complete CLA* - The exposure meter was calibrated to factory settings, and the exposure adjusted. Replaced mirror cushion and all light seals.
Complete lubrication and adjustment of all moving parts.
Shutter speeds set to factory settings.
This is a camera that can be the centerpiece of your early Canon or SLR collection and be ready to shoot with right out of the box.
The camera is super clean inside and out. It's got some nice brassing and a few dents and dings, but in my opinion, that makes it more collectible. Please check out my detailed photos, which show the exact condition of the camera. The pro-black finish is still shiny and clean.
The viewfinder is bright and clear. The meter is accurate. Only a few small dust bits are visible (pic #9).
I'll include the correct and original Canon body cap and a fresh 625A battery.
This Canon F-1 will accept any Canon FD lens made from 1971 to 1995.

Smoke-free and pet-free home.
The display stand is not included.

I mail daily.
It will be sent fully insured and tracked.
It will need to be signed for upon receipt.

Questions? I'm happy to answer. Additional pictures upon request.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your shop offer combined shipping?

Yes, just let us know and we'll work something out. No need to pay for shipping more than once.

Does your shop accept returns?

Yes, but with some exceptions. No returns on custom-made items. Part two - we will gladly accept a return within 14 days as long as it is returned to us in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Specifically, if an item is new and unused and in its original box and packaging it must be returned in an unused and unopened condition. Vintage and classic cameras, lenses, and certain pieces of vintage photogear carry no warranties or guarantees. By their very nature, older cameras are just that, old, and their electronics, levers, knobs, buttons, and dials can fail at any time. Let us know if you are returning something, maybe we can reach an agreement short of a full return. Part three - you will always pay for return shipping. Thanks

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping items safely since 2003. We must say, however, that we are not responsible for mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Most items and especially valuable items will always have insurance added.

How can I contact your shop?

We are on Etsy almost every day and the best way to get our attention is by starting an Etsy convo. We'll answer you quickly. We're generally in the shop until 11 PM EST.

Does your shop ever do custom orders?

Yes, we do. Just let us know what you want or are looking for and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Does your shop accept a best offer?

We think we have everything priced properly but we are here to make a sale and keep our customers happy. Let us know if you want to make an offer on something. I'm sure we will find a way to reach an accord.
