Rare Canon NFD 100mm f2.8 U.S. Navy Telephoto Lens - 1987 Version - Fully Tested, Clean & Clear Optics

$170.95 $189.95

I have my rare Canon NFD 100mm f2.8 short telephoto lens available.
It has U.S. Navy markings and was designed to have a fixed focus at infinity and no external adjustable aperture settings. It was used by aircrew and Sailors on the bridge to quickly capture images of interest, likely Soviet ships and aircraft. No focusing needed. A bit of history.

*To use it, mount it to a Canon camera such as the New F-1, A-1, T70, AE-1, and many others, and simply set your camera to automatic, and the aperture will adjust for a proper exposure.

*It's in near mint condition with the exception of a few minor marks on the exterior of the barrel.
The optics are clean and clear, and the aperture blades are oil-free and snappy. No fog, haze, cloudiness, or fungus.

*It comes with original Canon front and rear lens caps.
The display stand is not included.

**The last two pics show the lens mounted on my U.S. Navy Canon T70 (listed separately). That camera does not come with this lens in this listing.**

*It mounts on all Canon FD mount cameras from 1971 to 1995.
I use it on my digital Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with an adapter. Excellent results.

Smoke-free home and studio.

I mail daily.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does your shop offer combined shipping?

Yes, just let us know and we'll work something out. No need to pay for shipping more than once.

Does your shop accept returns?

Yes, but with some exceptions. No returns on custom-made items. Part two - we will gladly accept a return within 14 days as long as it is returned to us in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Specifically, if an item is new and unused and in its original box and packaging it must be returned in an unused and unopened condition. Vintage and classic cameras, lenses, and certain pieces of vintage photogear carry no warranties or guarantees. By their very nature, older cameras are just that, old, and their electronics, levers, knobs, buttons, and dials can fail at any time. Let us know if you are returning something, maybe we can reach an agreement short of a full return. Part three - you will always pay for return shipping. Thanks

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping items safely since 2003. We must say, however, that we are not responsible for mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Most items and especially valuable items will always have insurance added.

How can I contact your shop?

We are on Etsy almost every day and the best way to get our attention is by starting an Etsy convo. We'll answer you quickly. We're generally in the shop until 11 PM EST.

Does your shop ever do custom orders?

Yes, we do. Just let us know what you want or are looking for and we'll see if we can make it happen.

Does your shop accept a best offer?

We think we have everything priced properly but we are here to make a sale and keep our customers happy. Let us know if you want to make an offer on something. I'm sure we will find a way to reach an accord.
