***Collectors Dream***
Made in Occupied Japan in 1951.
Nicca Camera Company made the Tower Type-3
for the Sears, Roebuck and Company for sale in
the United States and Canada.
Finding a complete set from 1951 is pretty rare.

These cameras are often referred to as "Leica Copies".
The original models were copied pretty closely to
the Leica. As time went on, the Japanese improved
many aspects of the design and some are considered
to be better than the original. This camera accepts
all M39 / L39 Leica screw mount lenses of which there
are a bunch.

*This superset looks like it just left the factory!
I've tested everything and it's 100% working.
The shutter speeds sound great from slow to 1/500.
The rangefinder is clean and accurate.
The shutter curtain looks and works great.
The box is solid and in great shape given its age.
The instruction booklet is in fantastic condition.
The guarantee card looks mint new.
The leather case is the best one I've ever seen from
the early 1950s. No damage and tight stitching.
The metal lens cap fits a bit loosely but the original
black felt is complete and fresh looking.

I can't possibly show all aspects of the set in just 10 pics.

The aperture blades are clean and function properly.
The focus lever operates smoothly and is accurate.
The Nikkor lens is super sharp and the glass looks
to be free of cleaning marks or scratches. I do see some
dust specs here and there. The rear lens element shows
some whitish fungus. It is visible under a bright LED light.
Test shots with the lens show a general softening of the image.
I can provide samples of my test.

I mail daily and I mail super fast. It must be fully insured
and I must be able to track the package to your door.

This exceptional set will only be available for a short time.
It is part of my personal collection and it's a bit tough
to see it go but I'm downsizing and it will sell.

Does your shop offer combined shipping?

Yes and always! Just let us know and we'll work something out. No need to pay for shipping more than once.

Does your shop accept returns?

Yes but with some minor exceptions. If it was a custom made item we do not accept returns. Good communication before the sale will eliminate returns. Part two... we will gladly accept a returned item (within 14 days) as long as it is returned to us in the same condition as when we sent it to you. Let us know if you are returning something... maybe we can reach an agreement short of a full return. Part three... you will always pay for return shipping.

Will my purchase arrive well packaged?

Always! Carol and I take great care (and pride) in packaging your purchase. We always are mindful of being "green" but often times green doesn't protect your package properly. We have been shipping our items out safely since 2003. We must say however, that we are not responsible for gross mishandling by the carrier(s) or loss of an item. Valuable items will always have insurance added.
